Several contemporary art galleries based in Brussels—including Irène Laub Gallery, Whitehouse Gallery and Michèle Schoonjans Gallery— are joining forces on the occasion of a new artistic event: Salon Winssinger, which will be held in an exceptional Art Nouveau house. This event will be part of Brussels’s bustling cultural agenda, alongside the BrusselsPhoto festival, Ceramics Brussels and the prestigious BRAFA.
Hotel Winssinger, a magnificent mansion designed by Victor Horta in 1894, will be transformed into an exhibition venue displaing organic curves, decorative stained glass windows, mosaic floors, refined woodwork and ornate steel structures. This setting provides a unique backdrop for presenting contemporary artworks outside of their usual white cube. Salon Winssinger will offers art lovers, collectors and journalists a perfect opportunity to discover the contemporary art scene in an exceptional architectural setting.
